New patients welcome

At Larkfield Dental Aesthetics

Whether you're new to the area, haven't seen a dentist in a while, or are simply looking for somewhere that feels like the right fit β€” we'd love to look after you.

We're accepting new patients of all ages, and we've made a deliberate commitment to keeping our practice open when many others have closed their books.

Friendly dental team welcoming a new patient

Open books

We're accepting new patients β€” and that matters

NHS waiting lists in Kent can run to months or years, and even many private practices have closed their books to new registrations.

Larkfield Dental Aesthetics is different. We believe that finding a dentist you trust shouldn't be this hard. Whether you're a family looking for a practice that can see everyone from a toddler to a grandparent, or an individual who needs specific cosmetic or clinical treatment, we'd genuinely love to hear from you.

No wait

Actively welcoming new patients right now β€” no waiting list.

All ages

From first tooth to grandparents β€” the whole family can register.

1–2 weeks

Typical wait for a new patient consultation, often sooner.

From day one

What you get as a new patient

When you join us, you're not just registering with a practice β€” you're joining a team that will get to know you, remember your name, and look after your dental health for the long term.

  • βœ“ A thorough new patient consultation β€” not a rushed check-up, but a proper assessment of your teeth, gums, and overall oral health
  • βœ“ A full treatment plan in writing β€” if any treatment is needed, we'll explain exactly what, why, and how much before we start anything
  • βœ“ Completely no-pressure advice β€” we recommend what's genuinely in your best interest, not what generates the most revenue
  • βœ“ Access to our full range of treatments β€” from routine check-ups and hygienist appointments to implants, Invisalign, facial aesthetics, and everything in between
  • βœ“ Free dental examination for children under 5 years
  • βœ“ Denplan membership available β€” spread the cost of your routine care from your very first appointment
  • βœ“ Emergency appointments β€” as a registered patient, you'll have access to our same-day emergency slots if something goes wrong

Everyone welcome

Who we welcome

We see patients of all ages and all dental backgrounds. You don't need to be in perfect oral health to register with us β€” and you certainly won't be judged if it's been a while since your last visit.

We've helped patients who haven't seen a dentist in ten years feel completely at ease from their very first appointment. We particularly welcome:

Families

We see patients from first tooth to adulthood, so the whole family can register together.

Adults looking for a dentist

Especially those who've been struggling to find a practice accepting new patients in Kent.

Nervous or anxious patients

We're experienced in working with nervous patients at every level β€” calmly and without pressure.

New to the area

Patients new to Larkfield, Aylesford, West Malling, Ditton, Snodland, or Kings Hill.

Wanting more than basics

Cosmetic, restorative, orthodontic, or facial aesthetics treatment alongside routine care.

Transferring practices

We're happy to request records from your previous dentist on your behalf.

First-time registrants

New patients who haven't registered with a dentist before are warmly welcome.

Four simple steps

How to register

There's no complicated sign-up process, no lengthy form, and no waiting. Here's how to register with Larkfield Dental Aesthetics.

01

Contact us

Call us on 01732 521123, email hello@larkfielddentalcare.co.uk, or complete the short registration form on this page. We'll usually get back to you within one working day.

02

We take your details

We'll take your name, contact details, date of birth, and GP information. If you're transferring from another practice, we can request your dental records on your behalf.

03

Book your first appointment

We'll book you in for a new patient consultation at a time that suits you. This is a full assessment β€” not just a check-up.

04

You're registered

That's it. From the moment your appointment is booked, you're a patient at Larkfield Dental Aesthetics with access to our full range of services and same-day emergency cover.

Making the move

Transferring from another practice?

If you've been with another dental practice and want to make the move to Larkfield Dental Aesthetics, the process couldn't be simpler. You don't need to do anything formal β€” there's no 'leaving' process.

You simply register with us, attend your new patient consultation, and we take it from there. If you have recent X-rays or dental records that would be useful, we can contact your previous practice on your behalf to request these.

Having your records means we can hit the ground running at your first appointment rather than starting from scratch. There is no obligation to explain why you're changing practices β€” we don't need to know, and you don't need to tell your previous dentist.

Gentle care

Nervous or anxious about visiting the dentist?

If dental anxiety is one of the reasons you've been putting off registering somewhere new, please know that you're in exactly the right place. A significant proportion of our patients feel nervous β€” some mildly, some severely β€” and our team is genuinely experienced in helping people feel comfortable.

When you contact us, just let us know how you feel. We'll make a note, book you a longer appointment so nothing feels rushed, and take time at the start of your visit to talk things through before we do anything at all. There is never any pressure to proceed with treatment you don't feel ready for β€” and if you need to stop at any point, we stop.

Many of our most loyal patients came to us as extremely nervous patients and now arrive for their check-ups without a second thought. It takes time β€” and we're patient.

Questions

Frequently asked

Are you currently accepting new patients? +

Yes β€” we are actively welcoming new patients right now. There is no waiting list. Call us on 01732 521123 or complete the registration form on this page and we'll be in touch within one working day.

Do you accept NHS patients? +

We are a private practice for adult and children patients. We offer private treatment and Denplan payment plans which are affordable.

I haven't been to the dentist in years β€” will you still accept me? +

Absolutely, and you won't be judged. Many new patients come to us after a long gap β€” sometimes years, occasionally decades. We understand that life gets in the way, and that some people have had difficult experiences at the dentist in the past. We'll start with a thorough assessment, explain exactly where things stand, and put together a realistic, manageable plan to get your mouth healthy again β€” at a pace that works for you.

Can I register my whole family? +

Yes. We welcome patients of all ages, from young children through to older adults. Registering the whole family at one practice makes life considerably easier β€” one set of records, one team who knows everyone, and appointments that can often be booked together.

How soon can I get an appointment? +

New patient appointments are typically available within one to two weeks, though this can vary depending on the time of year. If you have a dental emergency, we offer same-day appointments regardless of whether you're already registered with us β€” call us as early in the day as possible.

Do I need to bring anything to my first appointment? +

Just yourself. It helps to have details of any medications you're currently taking and the contact details of your GP. If you have recent dental X-rays from a previous practice, bring those along or let us know and we can request them on your behalf.

What if I'm nervous about dental treatment? +

Please tell us when you get in touch β€” it makes a real difference. We'll book you a longer, unhurried appointment, give you time to talk before we do anything, and work entirely at your pace. We have extensive experience with nervous patients and our approach is always calm, patient, and pressure-free.
